VENDING AT SHIPWRECK
How do I get started?
You may complete and submit the vendor application at the bottom of this page to apply for a space. If you are applying after February you might be denied due to space constraints.
Shipwreck generally will only accept vendors with experience. The standard tent size is 10' x 10' for retail and 15' x 15' for food, but we can accommodate almost any size operation. Commercial trailers, including carnival and marquee styles, need to be noted in the application.
How much does it cost?
A 10' x 10' retail tent space is $100.00 and a food truck space is $125.00 plus 10% of sales after taxes for food.
Do I have to sign a contract?
An owner or officer of your company must sign a standard vendor agreement with Shipwreck Festival. This vendor agreement protects each of us from any legal circumstances that may arise from your company's participation. The vendor agreement is emailed to each vendor once they are chosen to participate in the event and is due to Shipwreck four weeks prior to the event. Payment is due with the vendor agreement.
Do I need insurance?
Every vendor must carry liability insurance with minimum policy limits of $1,000,000.00 for damage to property. Insurance must include products liability, workers compensation and automobile liability. Upon acceptance into an event, the City of Hampton and Shipwreck Festival must be named as additional insured as pertains to the insured's participation. A valid certificate of insurance is due with the vendor agreement to Shipwreck Festival.
